Save The Mermaid Campaign

Bernard Miles's beloved Mermaid Theatre in Blackfriars is under threat of demolition to be replaced by yet another office block - revised plans have gone in to the Corp of London but they do not include a theatre or any type of performance space.

I am organising a petition to be sent to the Corp of London in objection to this if anyone at London Theatre Guide or any of its members is supportive could they email me their name and their address (an address is needed to validate the objection) to maggie.sutton@btinternet.com

This is a matter of urgency as I must have this petition in to the Planning Dept by the 24.2.03.
