Set over a decade, audiences follow the creation of a multi-billion-dollar app that allows people to call taxis on their phone. The play aims to show how technology takes over our lives and how a few entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley shape the world.

Sean Delaney will star in Brilliant Jerks. The Killing Eve actor's West End credits include The Ferryman. Shubham Saraf and Kiran Sonia Sawar complete the trio of actors.

“The play is a mixture of direct address and vigorous multi-rolling throughout; and calls for a trio of supple, intelligent, and commanding actors. All three are special talents and I can't wait to see them bring the play to life,” said playwright Joseph Charlton.

Katie-Ann McDonough directs, with set and costume design by Hazel Low, lighting design by Rachel Sampley, and sound design by Annie May Fletcher.

Brilliant Jerks is at Southwark Playhouse.
