UPDATE: Shook will now be available to watch on Sky Arts on 24 June, ahead of an encore stream from 25 June - 31 July.

Sadly, Coronavirus impacted the West End transfer of Shook, with performances cancelled at Trafalgar Studios. However, Samuel Bailey's play will be available to watch online

Inspired by true stories, Shook follows three young offenders who will become fathers while in prison. Taking parenting classes, the trio look back at their pasts, reflecting on how they have been shut away from society.

George Turvey, artistic Director of Papatango said: "Having suffered the loss of the West End transfer, we are delighted to have found a way to share Sam's fantastic play with a wider audience. We are hugely grateful to James, the cast, and the whole creative team for pulling together under difficult circumstances to make it possible. We hope that audiences around the world enjoy watching it as much as we did making it."

The filmed production will star the original cast, including Josef Davies, Josh Finan, Andrea Hall and Ivan Oyik. When the stream launches on 5 February, there will also be a live Q&A session with the cast and creative team.

Shook received its world premiere at Southwark Playhouse in 2019, receiving seven OffWestEnd Awards. Shook later went on tour across England and Wales.
