Twelve months is a long time in theatre, shows open and close, surprise and shock, enlighten, and provoke all the time. But as we approach the final weeks of 2019, it's time to reflect, not just on the past year, but the past decade of great theatre in London.

Last week, we asked you to nominate your favourite new plays and musicals which first opened in London since 2010. Inundated with responses, we have narrowed down a shortlist of plays and musicals, which you can vote for below, with the winners being crowned LondonTheatre.co.uk's best new play and musical of the decade.

Don't forget to share this poll on Facebook and Twitter and let everyone know who you voted for - or if your favourite show missed out on a nomination! Polling will end on 26th December with the winning productions being announced before the New Year.
