Something Wicked presents Huis Clos at Barons Ct 5 Oct

Something Wicked Theatre presents Huis Clos, by Jean-paul Sartre, at the Barons Court Theatre, a fringe venue in Kensington, west London, from 5 to 10 Oct 2010.

Sartre's dramatic conception of hell is not the biblical one of fire and brimstone, but a philosophical metaphor for the ways in which we allow others to imprison us in roles which we assume to please them or ourselves, roles that save us from recognising who we truly are.
