
Tamzin Outhwaite and Kevin Bishop to star in West End transfer of 'Abigail’s Party'

Tamzin Outhwaite and Kevin Bishop will star in the West End transfer of Mike Leigh’s black comedy Abigail’s Party. The Theatre Royal Stratford East production will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 12 August to 19 September, following a UK tour.
Directed by Nadia Fall, Leigh’s play about suburban life, social class, materialism and sexual tension in 1970s England follows an alcohol-fuelled neighbourhood drinks party that goes disastrously wrong.
Joining Outhwaite as Beverly and Bishop as Laurence are Pandora Colin as Sue, Omar Malik as Tony, and Lauren Patel as Angela.
Leigh's other work includes Topsy-Turvy, Vera Drake, Happy Go Lucky, Mr. Turner, Naked and Secrets and Lies.
The creative team is completed by Set and Costume Designer Peter McKintosh, Lighting Designer Howard Harrison, Sound Designer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite, and Movement Director James Cousin.
