A new play by Sharon Jennings, The King Must Lie, will run at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington, south London from 27 - 31 May 2014.

The production is directed by Rich Jaques and produced by Fentiman productions. It focuses on the recent discovery of the bones of Richard III under a car park in Leicester which has caused much debate over his re-interment between the cities of York and Leicester, who both lay claim to the Duke of Gloucester.

This new play follows two historians from either side as they battle it out and discuss if Richard's bad reputation is truly justified. The King himself returns to give us his thoughts on where his final resting place should be.
