The King's Speech transfers to Wyndham's 22 March 2012

The stage production of The King's Speech, by David Seidler, transfers to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre, opening 27 March 2012, following previews from 22 March - booking to 21 July 2012.

The production opened on Friday 10 February at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and continues on tour around the UK until 17 March, before it transfers to the West Wnd

The King's Speech stage production, which was actually written as a play before it became a film, is directed by Adrian Noble, designed by Anthony Ward, and is produced by Playful Productions and Michael Alden.

It is the story about how King George VI conquered his debilitating stammer with the help of maverick speech therapist Lionel Logue.

Cast includes Charles Edwards (King George VI), Jonathan Hyde ( Lionel Logue), Emma Fielding (Queen Elizabeth), Ian McNeice (Winston Churchill), Michael Feast (Cosmo Lang), Joss Ackland (King George V), Charlotte Randle (Myrtle Logue), David Killick (Stanley Baldwin), Daniel Betts (King Edward VIII).
