‘The Woman in Black’ announces new cast from June 2022

Both actors return to the production.

A new cast will take over The Woman in Black from 7 June. The Woman in Black is at the Fortune Theatre. The Woman in Black tickets are on sale now.

Julian Forsyth will reprise the role of Arthur Kipps in The Woman in Black. He first played the role in 2010 and later returned in 2014. Forsyth’s West End credits include An American in Paris and Sunset Boulevard.

Matthew Spencer will play The Actor in The Woman in Black, a role he previously played at the Fortune Theatre and on tour. Spencer’s London credits include Amadeus and War Horse.

The Woman in Black play follows lawyer Arthur Kipps as he recalls his terrifying experiences to an actor in the hopes of exorcising his fears. The Woman in Black began London performances in 1989 and is the second longest-running play in London. Find out more about The Woman in Black in the West End.

Susan Hill's The Woman in Black is adapated by Stephen Mallatratt, directed by Robin Herford, and features designs by Michael Holt and lighting by Kevin Sleep.

The Woman in Black is at the Fortune Theatre.
