Production images have been released for the first production in the Pinter at the Pinter season, which appear to show Jon Culshaw as President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The production began previews last week, and stars Paapa Essiedu, Kate O'Flynn, Jonjo O'Neill, Antony Sher and Maggie Steed in the plays One for the Road, New World Order, Mountain Language, Ashes to Ashes and The Pres and an Officer.

Lia Williams is set to direct Ashes to Ashes, while Jamie Lloyd will direct the other plays.

The production will run in rep with The Lover and The Collection, which stars David Suchet and Russell Tovey, and opens for previews at the Harold Pinter Theatre tonight.

One for The Road tells the story of a tortured couple and their child who are held captive by an officer of a totalitarian regime.

New World Order sees two men discuss how they are going to torture the blindfolded man who sits before them. When it premiered, one critic for the Independent described it as getting 'closer to the nerve of torture than any play I know'.

In Ashes to Ashes, two characters, Devlin and Rebecca talk on a summer evening. The pair seem to be involved with each other, but it is unclear if they are married, lovers, or if their relationship is something more sinister.

The Pres and an Officer is a sketch discovered by Pinter's wife Antonia Fraser in 2017, nine years after the playwright's death. She said: "What would Harold have thought of Trump?' People are always asking me that question. Now we know. As it were."
