About Greenwich Theatre
There have been several performing arts venues and cinemas on the site of Crooms Hill since 1871. The current Greenwich Theatre was established in a new building on Crooms Hill in 1969. Greenwich Theatre is a leading off-West End theatre, with patrons including Dame Helen Mirren. The Greenwich Theatre is home to an annual children's theatre festival, which celebrates theatre designed for young children.
