The New Wimbledon Theatre was built in 1910. The main auditorium is adjoined by the smaller New Wimbledon Studio. It is one of the largest theatres in south-west London, and is home to national touring productions, as well as family entertainment and patnomime. In the studio, work is staged by new writers and comedians.
