
Born in London in 1974, Matt Lucas is a British comedian, writer and actor. Lucas is best known for creating BBC series including Little Britain and Come Fly With Me.
Lucas made his professional theatre debut in 2010, playing Thénardier in the 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables at the O2 Arena. In 2019, he reprised the part of Thénardier in Les Misérables: The All-Star Staged Concert at the Gielgud Theatre. He was due to transfer into Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre that winter, but withdrew due to a back injury following two weeks of performances. He returned for Les Misérables: The Staged Concert in 2021.
