BAFTA winner Adeel Akhtar (Fool Me Once, Four Lions) stars in the powerful state of the nation satire, The Estate, at the National Theatre. Book The Estate tickets on London Theatre.
In The Estate, a British Asian politician named Angad becomes the favourite to take over when a scandal unseats the opposition leader. However, when Angad’s home life begins to unravel, how far will Angad go to keep his public persona clear? This stunning play explores topics of power and family as well as the lies we tell ourselves.
