Good Night, Oscar Tickets

Emmy and Tony Award-winner Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) returns to his award-winning role as Oscar Levant in Good Night, Oscar. Book Good Night, Oscar tickets on London Theatre.

Be transported into the fast-paced world of 1950s live television following an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jack Paar” in 1958. The show’s guest is Oscar Levant, the pianist and humourist who also dealt with addiction and mental health issues. As Levant says, “There’s a fine line between genius and insanity; I have erased this line.” This gripping tale tells of Hollywood’s first celebrity meltdown. While it’s a fictional story, it’s based on real life, with some quotes taken from Levant’s TV appearances.

Following a critically acclaimed Tony Award-winning Broadway run, Good Night, Oscar comes to the West End to the Barbican Theatre.

As Variety’s review said of the Broadway production, “The role is undeniably difficult: Once he enters, Oscar carries every scene and almost never leaves the stage. He delivers seemingly hundreds of jokes, traverses an entire emotional rollercoaster of pain and ecstasy and he even plays a lengthy selection of “Rhapsody in Blue” live on stage.”

Good Night, Oscar in London has an excellent cast. In addition to Sean Hayes, the cast includes Rosalie Craig (Company), Daniel Adeosun (Much Ado About Nothing), David Burnett (The Duchess of Malfi), Richard Katz (The Fair Maid of the West), Eric Sirakian (The Kite Runner), Ben Rappaport (Grosse Pointe Garden Society), Tashinga Bepete (Dear England), Ben Butler (Twelfth Night), Charlotte Hunter (The Business of Murder), Max Roll (The Hills of California), and Ryan Speakman (A View From The Bridge).
