About High School Musical

Get’cha head in the game with High School Musical, Disney’s momentous hit musical, starring McFly’s Harry Judd at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre. Book High School Musical tickets on London Theatre.

High School Musical is a musical celebrating the 20th anniversary of the film becoming a global sensation. This brand-new London production brings East High to the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre for a strictly limited season. Join Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, Taylor, and the rest of the Wildcats once again as they learn how to navigate relationships, friendships, high-school drama, self-discovery, and the pressure to fit in on stage.

High School Musical in London is based on the Disney Channel Original Movie, following basketball star Troy Bolton and academically gifted Gabriella Montez as they meet over winter break and discover they share a love of singing. At East High, they both make the unexpected decision to audition for the school musical, which confuses their friend groups and challenges everyone to think outside the boxes they’ve put themselves in.

McFly’s Harry Judd stars as Coach Bolton, with original High School Musical film cast member KayCee Stroh as Ms. Darbus. Tobias Turley plays Troy Bolton, Leonor Correia plays Gabriella Montez, Caitlin Tipping plays Sharpay Evans, and Luke Bayer plays Ryan Evans. The cast also includes Char Burnett as Taylor McKessie, Jordan Benjamin as Chad Danforth, Simeon Beckett as Zeke Baylor, Olivia O’Connor as Martha Cox, Yna Tresvalles as Kelsi Nielson, and Curtis Patrick as Jack Scott.

This production is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton. The creative team includes choreography by Aaron Renfree, set design by Andrew Exeter, sound design by Matt Peploe, video design by George Reeve, lighting design by Rory Beaton, costume design by Sophia Pardon, and musical supervision by Katy Richardson.

This staging of High School Musical gives audiences an immersive, front-seat experience of the East High basketball court, bringing audiences into the heart of a beloved Disney film fit for the stage.
