Every child in every school has one Christmas wish, to star in a Nativity, and at St Bernadette’s School they’re attempting to mount a musical version! Only trouble is teacher Mr Maddens has promised that a Hollywood producer is coming to see the show to turn it into a film. Join him, his teaching assistant the crazy Mr Poppy, hilarious children and a whole lot of sparkle and shine as they struggle to make everyone’s Christmas wish come true.

Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani Dyer is set to join her dad on stage as she is cast in the upcoming Christmas production of Nativity! the Musical in London. Dani Dyer shot into the public eye earlier this year when she appeared on and consequently won the fourth series of ITV reality show Love Island. Her acting credits include the films Freerunner, Vendetta and Doghouse. She will play the role of Polly Parker in the musical, which runs at the Eventim Apollo in London from 19th to 31stDecember, with tickets on sale now.
Danny Dyer is set to star in the return of Nativity! the Musical to London this Christmas, alongside comedian Jo Brand. Debbie Isitt’s adaptation of the much-loved film sees school teacher Mr Maddens and his class attempt to mount a musical production of the nativity story. Maddens promises his class that a Hollywood producer will come to see the show, and he and his teaching assistant Mr Poppy must control the class and mount a star production. Nativity! the Musical returns to Eventim Apollo from 19th to 31st December, with tickets on sale now.
The musical adaptation of Nativity will return to London in 2018 following its run at the Eventim Apollo this December. Daniel Boys and Simon Lipkin star in the production which is an adaptation of the X film starring Martin Freeman. It tells the story of a primary school teacher who heads into competition to put on a better nativity play than a rival school. The current production features The X Factor judge Louis Walsh making his stage debut as a Hollywood producer.
The X Factor judge Louis Walsh is set to make his stage debut in the stage adaptation of Nativity the Musical, which opens in Birmingham later this month. The musical is adapted from the 2009 film of the same name, which starred Martin Freeman as a school teacher in competition with a rival school to put on the best Christmas play. Walsh will make his debut as the ‘Hollywood Producer’ in London run of the production, which also stars Simon Lipkin, Sarah Earnshaw, Andy Brady, Jemma Churchill, Jamie Chapman and Daniel Boys, as well as a cast of 27 children.
Primary casting has been announced for the World Premiere of Nativity! the Musical which opens at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 20 October 2017 ahead of a UK tour and run at the Hammersmith Apollo in London from 13-17 December 2017. Daniel Boys will play ‘Paul Maddens’ alongside Sarah Earnshaw as ‘Jennifer Lore’ and Simon Lipkin as ‘Mr Poppy’. They will be joined by Andy Barke, Jamie Chapman, Jemma Churchill, Gary Davis and Katia Sartini. Further casting and child casting is yet to be announced.
