The Gruffalo
The Gruffalo to return to the West End at the Lyric Theatre this summer
Wednesday, March 27, 2019

Tall Stories’ production of The Gruffalo is set to return to the West End stage this summer, and will run throughout the summer holidays at the Lyric Theatre. Celebrating 20 years since Julia Donaldson’s children’s book, illustrated by Axel Scheffer, was first published, the theatre adaptation returns to the stage for a ten-week season at the Lyric from 3rd July to 8th September. The Gruffalo follows the story of a daring mouse who sets out on an adventure in a wood where it crosses paths with a fox, an owl, a snake and a terrifying Gruffalo – if such a creature actually exists.
