Meet The Real Housewives of Off-Broadway.

If anyone knows about rumors, it's the stars of the Real Housewives reality TV franchise, whose petty domestic dramas make for explosive and entertaining television. So it's fitting that eight of them will lead a new revival of Neil Simon's Rumors, about a New York dinner party that goes mysteriously awry and sends gossip flying. Two quartets of Housewives — including Lisa Rinna, Phaedra Parks, and more — will star in the production during its January-April limited run.

Broadway has found its Warriors.

In case you missed it, Lin-Manuel Miranda has a new musical coming out, and it's one of the most highly anticipated shows of the spring. Warriors, which gender-flips the 1979 action movie about an NYC gang framed for murder, has named its cast, including multiple Hamilton alums and others featured on the show's 2024 concept album. Take a listen to get familiar with them before performances start on 9 March. (And maybe secure your seats now, just in case.)

The spring theatre season is taking shape.

Warriors isn't the only spring show starting to take shape. Let's speed through the highlights: The Dolly Parton bio-musical has named the cast members handpicked by the late singer, while Three Days of Rain — featuring stars of Heated Rivalry, Superman, and The Handmaid's Tale — set an official start date of 30 January.

There have also been a slew of celebs announced for new productions, like Tilda Swinton in Man to Man, Jonathan Groff in the solo show The Amish Project, Daniel Kaluuya in Grass, and John Turturro, Tony Shalhoub, and Tatiana Maslany in Rhinoceros. Phew!

Get ready for the Gleeboot.

This isn't NYC-specific, but we'd be remiss not to include Ryan Murphy's official announcement of a Glee reboot on this list. The six-time Emmy-winning TV series boosted the careers of numerous actors who are now theatre favorites — Lea Michele, Jonathan Groff, Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Alex Newell, and many more — so the Venn diagram between theatre and Glee fans is basically a circle. Michele, Heather Morris, and Chord Overstreet are confirmed to return, with more original stars rumored to join the reboot cast.
