‘& Juliet’ announces new West End cast; tickets on sale through September 2023
An original cast member steps into a new role.
& Juliet is a contemporary retelling of Romeo and Juliet, which sees the Shakespeare tragedy ending differently to allow Juliet to explore her own life. After a 2019 West End premiere, & Juliet will open on Broadway. Find out more about & Juliet.
After starring in the & Juliet original ensemble, Billy Nevers returns to the production as Francois, a role he previously understudied. Joe Foster will play May, and Nicolas Colicos will take over the role of Lance. The three new cast members join the production from 26 September.
The company includes Miriam-Teak Lee as Juliet, Cassidy Janson as Anne Hathaway, Oliver Tompsett as William Shakespeare, Tom Francis as Romeo, and Malinda Parris as Angelique, the Nurse.
Ebony Clarke, Bessy Ewa, Collette Guitart, Cassandra Lee, Nathan Louis-Fernand, Zara MacIntosh, Carl Man, Christian Maynard, Rachel Moran, Owen Saward, Aaron Shales, Benjamin Terry, Suki Wong, Ivan De Freitas, Rhian Duncan, Alex Tranter, Sophie Usher and Rhys Wilkinson complete the & Juliet cast.
Luke Sheppard directs & Juliet in London, with a book by David West Read, choreography by Jennifer Weber, scenic design by Soutra Gilmour and costume design by Paloma Young.
& Juliet is at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
