Knight recently won her first Olivier for Sylvia at the Old Vic. She’s also starred in The Drifter’s Girl, Memphis, and The Bodyguard. Burke’s West End credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chess, Chicago and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Sister Act played at the Eventim Apollo in 2022, picking up an Olivier nomination for Best Musical Revival. In a five-star review on London Theatre, our critic said: “It’s a classic, jubilant story of the power of community and coming together set to rollicking music and full of humour and dancing. London audiences are going to fall in love with this gem of a show all over again.”

The film was adapted for the stage with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater in 2012, which features songs such as “Take Me To Heaven”, “How I Got the Calling”, “Raise Your Voice” and “Spread the Love Around”. Discover a complete guide to Alan Menken musicals.

Sister Act includes a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane. Bill Buckhurst directs, with choreography by Alistair David, set and costume design by Morgan Large, lighting design by Tim Mitchell, and sound design by Tom Marshall. Further casting will be announced at a later date.
