The tale as old as time is coming back to the West End! After a nationwide tour, Disney's Beauty and the Beast will transfer to the London Palladium this summer. Disney's Beauty and the Beast begins previews at the London Palladium on 24 June, and runs to 17 September. Disney's Beauty and the Beast tickets will be on sale soon.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast tells the story of a young woman named Belle, who runs away and finds herself imprisoned in a castle. While locked away, she is greeted by anthropomorphic household items, including Mrs. Potts the teapot, Cogsworth the grandfather clock, and Lumière the candelabra. Together, they work to free themselves and rid an enchantress' curse. At the same time, Belle begins to fall for the Beast, who wishes to be transformed.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast is a Disney musical based on the 1991 film of the same name. The musical features music and lyrics by Alan Menken and Tim Rice, with songs including "Be Our Guest," "Human Again", and "Home."

Courtney Stapleton will play Belle, continuing in the role which she has played on the nationwide tour. Shaq Taylor joins the Disney's Beauty and the Beast company to play the Beast, joined by Gavin Lee as Lumiere, Tom Senior as Gaston, Sam Bailey as Mrs Potts and Nigel Richards as Cogsworth, Martin Ball as Maurice, Samantha Bingley as Wardrobe, Emma Caffrey as Babette and Louis Stockil as Le Fou.

The full Disney's Beauty and the Beast cast is completed by Richard Astbury, Sarah Benbelaid, Jake Bishop, Pamela Blair, Liam Buckland, Jasmine Davis, Matthew Dawkins, Autumn Draper, Daisy Edwards, Alyn Hawke, George Hinson, Jennifer Louise Jones, Brontë Lavine, Thomas-Lee Kidd, David McIntosh, Aimee Moore, Sam Murphy, Ashley-Jordon Packer, Emily Squibb, Grace Swaby, India Thornton and Rhys West.

The Disney's Beauty and the Beast creative team includes direction by Rob Roth, choreography by Matt West, scenic design by Stan Meyr, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward and lighting designer Natasha Katz.

When Disney's Beauty and the Beast opens in the West End, there will be four Disney musicals running concurrently: Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, The Lion King, and Mary Poppins
