Jonathan Spector's satire explores the role of vaccinations in American society. Set in 2017 at the Eureka Day school in Berkeley, California, Eureka Day follows five board members as they update their school policies. At the same time, a mumps outbreak threatens the local community leaving board members arguing over what to do.
The Academy Award-winning actress Helen Hunt plays Suzanne in Eureka Day. The full cast includes Superstore's Mark McKinney as Don, Pride's Ben Schnetzer as Eli, This Is Us's Susan Kelechi Waston as Carina, and Kirsten Foster as May.
Katy Rudd directs Eureka Day at the Old Vic. The show features set and costume design by Rob Howell, lighting design by Donato Wharton, and sound design by Andrzej Goulding.
