Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has revealed the full cast of Brian Friel’s Faith Healer, which brings together the stories of a healer, his wife and his manager through a series of monologues. The play opens on 14 March.

The cast includes Declan Conlon as Frank (Come on Home), Nick Holder as Teddy (Assassins), and Justine Mitchell as Grace (Dancing at Lughnasa, Derry Girls, Conversation with Friends).

Faith Healer is directed by Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s artistic director Rachel O’Riordan. The rest of the creative team includes Colin Richmond (set design), Paul Keogan (lighting design), Anna Clock (composition and sound design), and Sophie Parrott CDG (casting).

Speaking about the announcement, O’Riordan said: “Faith Healer is a play I have long wanted to direct; its exploration of the instability of truth opens up great possibilities. As one of the most highly-regarded playwrights of our time, Friel’s play deservedly earns its status as a ‘masterpiece’. I couldn’t be prouder to be directing this Irish classic with a powerhouse cast for our audiences here in West London and beyond.”

The play runs until 13 April.
