The Guilty, starring Russell Tovey, will transfer to the West End in 2027, following performances at the Donmar Warehouse this summer.

Running at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 16 January to 3 April, The Guilty sees Tovey play police officer Joe, who seems resigned to taking monotonous emergency calls until he gets one that sets his pulse racing.

The show, adapted by Chloë Moss and directed by Felix Barrett, is based on the film 2021 film starring Jake Gyllenhaal, itself adapted from the 2018 Danish film Den Skyldige.

Tovey said, “I’ve never quite had an experience like The Guilty, every single performance at the Donmar vibrated with an energy I’ve never felt on stage - audience and performer connected and intertwined - I cannot wait to perform it in The Pinter.”

The rest of the creative team includes set designer Alex Eales, lighting designer Anna Watson, sound designer Gareth Fry, and video designer Luke Halls.
