Full casting announced for UK premiere of Broadway musical Falsettos
Initial casting has been announced for the UK premiere of William Finn and James Lapine's musical Falsettos, which is set to run at The Other Palace from August.
Winner of two Tony Awards, Falsettos tells the story of a gay man called Marvin, his wife, his lover, his son, their psychiatrist and their lesbian neighbours.
The cast includes: Natasha J Barnes (Cordelia), Daniel Boys (Marvin), Matt Cardle (Mendel), Gemma Knight-Jones (Charlotte), Laura Pitt-Pulford (Trina) and Oliver Savile (Whizzer).
Falsettos runs at The Other Palace from 30th August to 23rd November, with an official opening night on 5th September. Tickets are available now.
Directed and choreographed by Tara Overfield-Wilkinson, Falsettos features designs by PJ McEvoy, lighting by Nic Farman, sound by Chris Whybrow, musical direction by Richard John and musical supervision by Mark Crossland.
Premiering on Broadway in 1992, the musical won the Tonys for best book of a musical and best original score, and was recently revived in New York.
Falsettos is at The Other Palace from 30th August to 23rd November.
