After the world premiere was postponed last year, the long-awaited stage adaptation of Indecent Proposal will now open in London this autumn. Indecent Proposal is at Southwark Playhouse from 22 October - 27 November.

Set in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1988, married couple Jonny and Rebecca struggle to make ends meet with their part-time jobs. But, when Larry offers Rebecca a million dollars to spend the night with him, will Rebecca gamble her marriage to get into the black?

Indecent Proposal is based on Jack Engelhard's 1988 novel of the same name. The book was then adapted as a film in 1993, starring Robert Redford and Demi Moore. A new Indecent Proposal film is currently in the works.

Casting for Indecent Proposal includes Ako Mitchell as Larry, Jacqui Dankworth as Annie and Norman Bowman as Jonny. Lizzy Connolly will play the role of Rebecca.

Indecent Proposal features a book and lyrics by Michael Conley, with music by Dylan Schlosberg and direction by Charlotte Westenra.

Upcoming shows at Southwark Playhouse include John & Jen starring Rachel Tucker, Anything Is Possible if You Think About It Hard Enough and Tokyo Rose.
