The People's Princess is coming to the stage! Diana, a new version of the Broadway musical about the late former Princess of Wales, will play a one-night-only concert performance at the Eventim Apollo on 4 December. Book Diana tickets now.

In this reimagined version of the musical, which premiered in New York in 2021, Diana reflects on her past in 1996, after she has divorced King (then Prince) Charles III. Two actors tell her story in two parts: Kerry Ellis stars as the older Diana, and Maiya Quansah-Breed plays her 19-year-old self as she hurtled from humble beginnings into royalty, capturing the nation's hearts with her warmth and outreach.

Additionally, Denise Welch will play Queen Elizabeth II. Further casting has yet to be announced.

Owen Horsley directs Diana, which features music and lyrics by David Bryan and a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro. The duo is best known for writing the musical Memphis, which played in London in 2015 and won two Olivier Awards.

The Eventim Apollo concert marks the Diana musical's U.K. debut. A filmed version of the Broadway production is currently streaming on Netflix.
