The complete cast for the upcoming revival of Singin' in the Rain has been named, ahead of performances this summer. Singin' in the Rain is at Sadler's Wells from 30 July - 5 September, with a national tour taking place in 2022.

As previously announced, Adam Cooper will reprise his performance as Don Lockwood, a role he played at Chichester Festival Theatre and at the Palace Theatre in 2012.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton will play Cosmo Brown, previously in the Rock of Ages tour as Stacee Jaxx. Faye Tozer will play Lina Lamont, recently playing Miss Hedge in Everybody's Talking About Jamie and a finalist in the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Charlotte Gooch will play Kathy Seldon, with Cavin Cornwall as RF Simpson, Sandra Dickinson as Dora Bailey, Michael Matus as Roscoe Dexter and Imogen Brook as Zelda Zanders. The ensemble features Briana Craig, Alistair Crosswell, Lavinia Fitzpatrick, Alex Given, Ryan Gover, Ashleigh Graham, Harriet Samuel-Gray, Molly Rees Howe, Thomas Inge, Robin Kent, Sam Lips, Joshua Lovell, George Lyons, Heather Scott Martin, Amonik Melaco, Ashleigh Morris, Peter Nash, Megan Spiers, and Ellie May Wilson.

Based on the 1952 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film starring Gene Kelly, Singin' in the Rain follows silent movie star Don Lockwood. Cast in a "talkie", can Don and his co-star Lina Lamont stay in love, or will Kathy Seldon capture Don's heart?

Singin' in the Rain features songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed, direction by Jonathan Church and choreography by Andrew Wright.

In a review of the 2012 production, "A standing ovation was the order of the day come the curtain calls... It has wonderfully hummable songs which are the essential element of a really great musical... and the energetic tap dancing, in particular, is superb. In fact, Jonathan Church's production is almost everything that one could wish for from this kind of musical."
