Leah Harvey to star in ‘The Wonderful World of Dissocia’
The play opens at Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Find out the full cast for the 15th anniversary of The Wonderful World of Dissocia. The play begins previews at Theatre Royal Stratford East on 16 September, with an opening on 22 September, and performances to 15 October.
The play explores Lisa Jones as she lives with a mental illness and tries to rescue what she believe she’s lost in a surreal world.
Leah Harvey will play Lisa Jones. They are best known for their BAFTA-nominated performance in Foundation on Apple TV. They've also starred in Small Island at the National Theatre and Emilia at Shakespeare's Globe.
The cast includes Archie Backhouse as Goat, Leander Deeny as Victor, Michael Grady-Hall as Vince, Dominique Hamilton as Jane, Daniel Millar as Oathtaker, Phoebe Naughton as Britney and Tomi Ogbaro as the Insecurity Guard.
Emma Baggott directs Anthony Neilson’s play. The show features set and costume design by Grace Smart, lighting design by Lucía Sánchez Roldán, and composition and sound design by Alexandra Faye Braithwaite.
