Mischief Theatre stars to take part in ‘Tasting Notes’

The new musical is set in a wine bar.

Mischief Theatre actors Niall Ransome and Nancy Zamit will star in a new London musical this summer. Tasting Notes will begin previews at Southwark Playhouse on 27 July, ahead of an opening night on 29 July, and performances to 27 August.

Set over the course of 24 hours in a wine bar, Tasting Notes follows the waiters, customers, and those who visit the local area.

The cast includes Mischief Theatre’s Nancy Zamit. She’s previously appeared in The Play That Goes Wrong, Magic Goes Wrong and Groan Ups. Niall Ransome will also star in Tasting Notes. He’s previously been in The Comedy About a Bank Robbery and Mischief Movie Night In.

The Tasting Notes cast includes Stephen Hoo, Sam Kipling, Wendy Morgan and Charlie Ryall.

Tasting Notes features an original book by Ryall, and music and lyrics by Richard Baker and Ryall. Shelley Williams directs a show that features set design by Justin Williams and lighting design by Alex Musgrave.

Tasting Notes is at Southwark Playhouse.
