'Peaky Blinders: The Rise' immersive show to play Vanguard Theatre

The brand-new show will run in summer 2022.

The Vanguard Theatre, Camden, is under new management, by order of the Peaky Blinders! An new immersive show based on the BAFTA Award-winning TV drama series will open there in summer 2022. Casting and specific dates have yet to be announced.

In Peaky Blinders: The Rise, audiences will be transported into the 1920s as they join gang boss Tommy Shelby and his family on their rise to fortune. They will be placed right inside the Shelby Company, and the show also lets audiences experience other iconic locations from the show, including the Small Heath betting shop, The Garrison, and the bakery on Regent's Canal. Even the venue itself is located near the setting for Solomons Yard in the TV show.

Direction and creative direction is by Tom Maller, and Rebecca Brower is the production designer. Steven Knight, who wrote and created the original Peaky Blinders TV series, serves as a producer alongside Producers Immersive Everywhere and Caryn Mandabach Productions.
