A reworked production of John and Jen will receive its world premiere in London this summer. John and Jen is at Southwark Playhouse from 28 July - 21 August, starring Rachel Tucker.

John and Jen follows a brother and sister who grow up together. When John is killed, Jen gives birth to a baby boy, naming him John after her late brother. John and Jen was first performed in 1995 and later revived off-Broadway in 2015, starring Kate Baldwin. The upcoming production of John and Jen marks the show's London premiere, as well as the world premiere of the new version.

Rachel Tucker will play Jen, previously playing Beverley Bass in Come From Away at the Phoenix Theatre. She's joined by Lewis Cornay as John, whose West End credits include The Book of Mormon, Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music.

John and Jen is by Andrew Lippa and Tom Greenwald, with additional orchestrations by Jason Robert Brown. Guy Retallack directs, with scenic and costume design by Natalie Johnson and sound design by Andrew Johnson.

As well as John and Jen, Amy Ng's adaptation of Miss Julie will run at Southwark Playhouse. Jennifer Leong, Sophie Robinson and Leo Wan will star in the production from 29 June - 3 July.

John and Jen is at Southwark Playhouse from 28 July - 21 August.
