Simon Lipkin will now star in Brian & Roger - A Highly Offensive Play at the Menier Chocolate Factory, due to Harry Peacock stepping away from the show on medical advice. Brian & Roger, begins performances on 22 October in the Menier's smaller space, the Mixing Room, and Brian & Roger tickets are on sale now.

Speaking about his departure, Peacock said: "Stepping back from the show was an incredibly difficult decision, but ultimately the right one for my health and the production, and I can't wait to enjoy the show from the comfort of the auditorium."

Now, Lipkin will take over the role of Roger in Brian & Roger, joining the cast with one week and two days to prepare. Lipkin's West End credits include Ghost Stories at the Ambassadors Theatre and Rat in The Wind in the Willows at the London Palladium. Lipkin commented: "Can you please go away. I'm trying to learn my lines."

Brian & Roger follows two divorced men as they attend support group sessions. The play is based on the hit podcast of the same name, which is currently in its fifth season.

David Babani directs Brian & Roger, with scenic and costume design by Robert Jones, video design by Timothy Bird, lighting design by Paul Anderson, and sound design by Gregory Clark.

Brian & Roger - A Highly Offensive Play is at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 22 October.
