Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan's The Producers will officially close at the Garrick Theatre in the West End after its most recent extension ends on 19 September 2026.
Patrick Marber's production transferred to the West End following a run at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 2024-25. The musical tells the story of two Broadway producers who aim to get rich quick by putting on a sure-fire flop, only to find the musical becomes an unexpected success.
The current principal cast, all reprising their roles from the Menier run, includes Andy Nyman (Max Bialystock), Marc Antolin (Leo Bloom), Trevor Ashley (Roger DeBris), Raj Ghatak (Carmen Ghia), Harry Morrison (Franz Liebkind), and Joanna Woodward (Ulla).
The cast is completed by Alex Lodge (Storm Trooper), Kelsie-Rae Marshall (Hold-Me-Touch-Me), Ryan Pidgen (Standby Max), Megan Armstrong, Marianne Bardgett, Gabrielle Cocca, Olly Christopher, Nolan Edwards, Michael Franks, Matt Gillett, Esme Kennedy, Sinead Kenny, Josh Kiernan, Kate Parr, Emma Robotham-Hunt, Pierce Rogan, Hollie Jane Stephens, Jermain Woods, and Liam Wrate.
