Ahead of the anticipated West End premiere of The Shark is Broken, which was due to open in 2020, the full cast has been named. The Shark is Broken is at the Ambassadors Theatre from 9 October - 15 January, and The Shark is Broken tickets are on sale now.

Ian Shaw will play the role of his father Robert Shaw, who starred in the Jaws movie, which was released in 1975. Liam Murray Scott makes his West End role as Richard Dreyfuss, with eye for eye's Demetri Goritsas as Roy Scheider.

Set during the filming of Jaws, the Jaws lead actors are stuck on a boat named Orca, waiting for action to take place again. But drama wasn't just taking place in front of the camera; there were plenty of backstage issues too. Stranded in the Atlantic Ocean, who would bare their teeth when the cameras weren't on?

The Shark is Broken is co-written by Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon, with direction by Guy Masterson, scenic and costume design by Duncan Henderson, lighting design by Jon Clark and sound design and music by Adam Cork.
