Thriller Live to close at the Lyric Theatre after 11 years
The West End production of Thriller Live is set to close at the Lyric Theatre after 11 years of performances in London.
The show, which celebrates the life and music of pop legend Michael Jackson, rattles through the singer's back catalogue from the early Jackson 5 days with his brother to some of his biggest hits including "Thriller", "Bad", "Billie Jean" and "Smooth Criminal".
Thriller Live, which opened at the theatre on 21st January 2009, will play its final performance at the Lyric Theatre on 26th April 2020.
After the production closes, the Lyric Theatre - which is owned by Nimax Theatres - will undergo refurbishment.
The production has stated it is seeking another West End theatre to transfer to following its closure.
