‘Tuck Shop West End’ festival to celebrate British Drag at Garrick Theatre
The fortnight of events begins later this month.
A new drag festival, Tuck Shop West End will bring two weeks of drag performances to the Garrick Theatre this summer. It's the first time a drag festival has been housed in the West End, with performances from 27 July - 8 August. Tuck Shop West End tickets are on sale now.
Throughout the festival, there'll be performances from RuPaul's Drag Race contestants including Joe Black, Ginny Lemon, Cheryl Hole, Charlie Hides and Baga Chipz. Stars from Death Drop at the Garrick Theatre will also take part.
"After an incredible smash hit summer with Death Drop, I'm beyond delighted that Nica Burns and the incredible Nimax team have asked Tuck Shop back to the Garrick for the West End's first ever drag season" said producer Christopher Clegg.
"This festival is showcasing all kinds of drag in the biggest and best ways! I hope audiences come and experience the broad scope of what the UK drag scene has to offer in a way like never before."
