About

The Pleasance Theatre was founded in 1996 to provide a permanent home for the energy and talent the Pleasance is renowned for in Edinburgh. There are two theatre spaces: the Main House, and a studio - the StageSpace. The building that is now the Pleasance Theatre Islington was once the timber store for the London Omnibus Company.

The Pleasance in Islington has provided a launch pad for memorable productions and has helped springboard bright UK comedians, including Michael McIntyre, Russell Brand and Micky Flanagan.
