The Windsors: Endgame, based on the hit Channel Four sitcom The Windsors, will be having its world premiere at the Prince of Wales Theatre on the London West End in August 2021. The Windsors: Endgame tickets are available on London Theatre now. Book tickets to The Windsors: Endgame today.
Comedian Harry Enfield stars as Prince Charles alongside other members of the television cast in this strictly limited ten-week run of performances between 2nd August and 9th October 2021. The show promises to be as irreverent as the original series, including songs, snogging, and sword fights.
Following the imagined escapades of the royal family, The Windsors: Endgame sees Wills (Prince William) challenge the hapless Prince Charles for the crown. The only person standing in Wills's way is the abominable Camilla, who wants to rule over the land (and Charles) with an iron fist. Wills recruits Harry and Meghan's help, but will they return to the UK from their new life and rescue chickens in California? Meanwhile, Beatrice and Eugenie do their best to clear Prince Andrew's name.
While the show features an entirely new plotline, the creatives that made The Windsors a success are along for the ride. The Windsors: Endgame play is written by the creators of the original television series, George Jeffrie and Bert Tyler-Moore. Jeffrie and Tyler-Moore are also known for their work on sketch shows such as Smack the Pony, Harry and Paul, and That Mitchell and Webb Look. They're joined by director Michael Fentiman, who previously directed Amelie: The Musical on the West End. The Windsors: Endgame in London features set design by Madeleine Girling, lighting design by Jack Knowles, music by Felix Hagan, sound by George Dennis, and casting by Stuart Burt CDG.
British Academy Award winner Harry Enfield leads the show, best known for his long-running sketch show Harry Enfield and Chums and features in sitcoms such as Bad Education and Upstart Crow. Other cast members you'll recognise from The Windsors television show include Matthew Cottle as Edward, Tom Durant-Pritchard as Harry, and Tim Wallers as Andrew.
