After 15 spectacular years in the West End, the Olivier Award-winning and global phenomenon Stomp will close its doors on 7th January 2018, following 10 record-breaking years at London's Ambassadors Theatre. This multi-award winning show continues to astound audiences across the world with its universal language of rhythm, theatre, comedy and dance.
Eight performers use everything from Zippo lighters, plastic bags, bin lids and even the kitchen sink to hammer out an explosively feelgood rhythm.
With new routines, new choreography and new music, Stomp is pure stage magic.
STOMP finds beauty and music in the mundane - from boots and bins to zippo lighters and plumber's plungers - everything including the kitchen sink becomes part of this production as a cast of 8 performers make instruments out of brooms and turn hand-clapping into conversation. With energy and toe-tapping exuberance, STOMP takes the clutter and junk of everyday life and transforms it into a theatrical event. (In 2009 the production added new routines, new choreography and new music.)
