‘A Doll’s House - Part 2’, starring Noma Dumezweni, announces full cast

Lucas Hnath’s play comes to the Donmar Warehouse this summer.

Find out the full cast for the European premiere of A Doll’s House - Part 2 in London. A Doll’s House - Part 2 begins previews at the Donmar Warehouse on 10 June, ahead of a press night on 16 June and performances to 6 August.

The A Doll’s House - Part 2 play is set 15 years after the ending of the Henrik Ibsen play, A Doll’s House. In this sequel, Nora’s lifechanging decision comes into question as she faces a family she left behind.

Noma Dumezweni will play Nora Helmer. She’s best known for originating the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in the West End and on Broadway.

The Tony-winning actor Brian F. O’Byrne will play Torvald. His Broadway credits include Outside Mullingar, Doubt: A Parable and Frozen. Patricia Allison will play Emmy, and June Watson will play Anne Marie.

Lucas Hnath’s play A Doll’s House - Part 2 ran on Broadway in 2017 and received eight Tony Award nominations. Hnath’s notable works include Hillary and Clinton and Dana H. A Doll’s House - Part 2 features direction by James Macdonald, design by Rae Smith and lighting design by Azusa Ono.
