Following the announcement that the Menier Chocolate Factory's production of Fiddler on the Roof is transferring to the West End's Playhouse Theatre, stars Andy Nyman and Judy Kuhn told us why they're so excited the musical will get an extended run in London.

Nyman and Kuhn are transferring with the production following their critically-acclaimed performances in the musical at the Menier, where it is now nigh-on impossible to buy a ticket for.

Nyman plays Tevye, a Jewish milkman living in a Russian shtetl trying to hold on to his Jewish traditions and values. He lives with his wife, Golde (played by Kuhn), as his five daughters are looking to marry into different families.

Ahead of the announcement, we sat down with the stars of Trevor Nunn's production to talk about why Fiddler on the Roof is so relevant in 2019, and bringing the show to the West End from March.

Fiddler on the Roof is at the Playhouse Theatre from 21st March.

Fiddler on the Roof tickets are available now.
