Bring It On: The Musical to play Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of national tour
Following a national tour of Bring It On: The Musical this year, the musical will transfer to Queen Elizabeth Hall for a limited season. The tour will begin at the Birmingham Hippodrome in June 2020, with performances around the country and ending at the London venue for five weeks from 9th December, with tickets for the London run on sale next week.
Adapting the 2000 movie of the same name for the stage, Bring It On: The Musical sees Campbell, a high school cheerleader who is forced to move to a neighbouring school. Joining their cheer team, Campbell finds herself back in contention to take the crown.
The musical features an original score by the Pulitzer Prize-winning writers Tom Kitt and Lin-Manuel Miranda, with a book by Avenue Q's Jeff Whitty.
Bring It On: The Musical will play at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall from 9th December to 10th January 2021, with tickets on sale from 9th March.
The Bring It On: The Musical cast stars Amber Davies as Campbell, who made her professional stage debut in 9 to 5 as Judy Bernly. Olympic gymnast and Strictly Come Dancing star Louis Smith will play Cameron, with Vanessa Fisher as Danielle.
The cast is completed by Alicia Belgarde as Eva, Georgia Bradshaw as Nautica, Ayden Morgan as La Cienega, Samuel Wilson-Freeman as Steven, Chloe Pole as Skylar, Frances Dee as Kylar, Marvyn Charles as Twig, Roshani Abbey, Jack Dargan, Matthew Dawkins, Jordan Isaac, Katie Lee, Gareth Moran, Biancha Szynal, and Zinzile Tshuma.
Bring It On: The Musical is at Queen Elizabeth Hall from 9th December to 10th January 2021.
