Cheryl to star in ‘2:22 - A Ghost Story’ at the Lyric Theatre
Danny Robins's play moves to its fourth theatre.
Cheryl will make her West End debut as part of the fifth cast of 2:22 - A Ghost Story at the Lyric Theatre from 21 January to 23 April. Book 2:22 - A Ghost Story tickets on London Theatre.
Cheryl rose to fame as one-fifth of Girls Aloud. With Girls Aloud, she achieved four UK number ones, including “Sound of the Underground,” “I’ll Stand by You,” and “The Promise. After Girls Aloud, she’s since judged The X Factor mentoring Alexandra Burke, and The Greatest Dancer. Cheryl will play Jenny in 2:22 - A Ghost Story.
"I am really excited to be taking part in what is such a new challenge for me. I have always loved and been a big fan of theatre so I’m especially excited to be playing the role of Jenny in this production of 2:22," said Cheryl.
Hugo Chegwin will play Ben, Louise Ford will play Lauren, and Scott Karim will play Sam.
2:22 - A Ghost Story follows a couple named Jenny and Sam who have just moved into their new home. While Jenny believes the house is haunted, Sam is skeptical, so they invite dinner guests over and stay up to 2:22am to uncover the truth.
2:22 - A Ghost Story premiered at the Noel Coward Theatre in 2021, and has since played at the Gielgud Theatre and Criterion Theatre. The current run of 2:22 - A Ghost Story is at the Criterion Theatre to 8 January — get tickets here.
