The full cast has been announced for the London transfer of Million Dollar Quartet, which begins performances at The Arts at Marble Arch: powered by TodayTix on 4 September running through 6 December.
Joining the previously announced Darren Day as visionary producer Sam Phillips are Connor Payne (Ruth The Musical, Assassins, A Man of No Importance) reprising the role of Elvis Presley, with Christopher Erasmus (Winghaven Park, Beauty and the Beast) as Johnny Cash, Joe Bence (Death Comes to Pemberley UK Tour, The Farm) as Jerry Lee Lewis, and Joey Bradick (Humbug, The Cavern Club UK Tour) as Carl Perkins.
The cast also includes Jenay Naima (MJ The Musical, Silence! The Musical, The Bodyguard Musical) as Dyanne, Geraint Downing (A Christmas Carol, The Lord of the Rings) as Brother Jay, and Josh Haberfield (Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast) as W.S. “Fluke” Holland.
With a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, and original concept and direction by Floyd Mutrux, Million Dollar Quartet follows Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley as they come together in a jam session at a Memphis recording studio, which makes music history.
The production is directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin, set and costume design by Libby Watson, lighting design by Alex Musgrave, sound design by Nick Lodge, and musical supervision by Lee Freeman.
The London transfer follows the production’s extended summer season at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester.
