Full casting announced for 'Hercules' in the West End

The stage musical adaptation of the hit Disney animated film will make its London debut at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane beginning this June.

They will go the distance! The Disney musical Hercules has named its complete West End cast ahead of its 6 June opening at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Joining the previously announced Luke Brady as Hercules are, as the Muses, Candace Furbert (Thalia), Sharlene Hector (Clio), Brianna Ogunbawo (Melpomene), Malinda Parris (Calliope), Robyn Rose-Li (Terpsichore), and Kamilla Fernandes (Standby Muse). The principal cast also includes Mae Ann Jorolan (Meg), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Phil), Stephen Carlile (Hades), and Craig Gallivan and Lee Zarrett (in the roles of Bob and Charles).

Rounding out the cast are Rhianne Alleyne, Lana Antoniou, Daisy Barnett, Felipe Bejarano, Sarah Benbelaid, Joel Benjamin, Jack Butcher, Nicole Carlisle, Francessca Daniella-Baker, Jemal Felix, Marie Finlayson, Ryesha Higgs, Cruz-Troy Hunter, Travis Kerry, Stefan Lagoulis, Jason Leigh Winter, Jordan Livesey, Harriet Millier, Ellie Mitchell, Saffi Needham, Ingrid Olivia, Matt Overfield, Patrick Robinson, Ope Sowande, and Rhys West.

Adapted from the hit Disney film and rooted in Greek mythology, Hercules follows the title demigod as he goes on a quest to prove his strength and take his place among the gods on Mount Olympus. The stage musical features famous songs from the film like "Zero to Hero," "Go the Distance," and more.

Hercules features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, a book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, direction by Casey Nicholaw, and choreography by Nicholaw and Tanisha Scott.

The rest of the creative team includes set designer Dane Laffrey, costume designers Gregg Barnes and Sky Switser, lighting designer Jeff Croiter, sound designer Adam Fisher, video designer George Reeve, hair by Mia M. Neal, make-up by Kirk Cambridge-Del Pesche, special effects from Jeremy Chernick, and music supervisor and arranger Michael Kosarin, with orchestrations from Danny Troob and Joseph Joubert, and dance arrangements by David Chase.
