Full casting announced for 'One Day The Musical'

One Day follows the love story of Emma and Dex, who meet the night of graduation at university and continue to play a central role in each others lives through career changes, heartbreak, and second chances.

The full cast and creative team have been revealed for One Day The Musical, which begins performances at the Garrick Theatre on 17 November.

Joining Jamie Muscato (Cabaret, The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge! The Musical) and Sharon Rose (Sylvia, Hamilton) as they reprise their roles as ‘Dex’ and ‘Em’ from the Royal Lyceum Theatre run in Edinburgh earlier this year are Dan Buckley as ‘Ian’, Dougie Carter as ‘Callum’, Anna-Jane Casey as ‘Alison Mayhew’, Ross Dawes as ‘Mr Godalming’, Christopher Dickins as ‘Stephen Mayhew’, Kelly Hampson as ‘Sylvie’, Jennifer Louise Jones as ‘Miffy’, and Romona Lewis-Malley as ‘Tilly’.

‘Jasmine’ and ‘Sonia’ are played by Bonnie Harper, Esmae Kevany, Hannah McIntyre and Ava-Rae Timewell.

Vanessa Fisher is in the Ensemble, with Rosalía Morales, Ewan Murphy, and Tom Mussell as Understudies.

One Day’s band includes Musical Director and Keys, Nigel Lilley; Drums, Luke Baxter; Violin and Synth, Shelley Britton; Cello, Gemma Connor; Guitar, Matt Isaac and Bass and Double Bass, Marcus Pritchard.

This new adaptation of David Nicholls's story is written by David Greig, with music and lyrics by Abner and Amanda Ramirez (of US band Johnnyswim), with additional material by Jeremy Sams. The show is directed by Tony and Olivier award nominee Max Webster (Macbeth, The Importance of Being Earnest, Life of Pi).

The creative team is completed by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, Choreographer; Nigel Lilley, Musical Supervisor, Musical Director and Co-Arranger; Rae Smith, Set and Costume Designer; Bruno Poet, Lighting Designer; Simon Baker, Sound Designer; Lewis den Hertog, Video Designer; Carole Hancock, Wigs, Hair and Make Up Designer; Simon Hale, Orchestrator and Co-Arranger, Ingrid Mackinnon, Intimacy Director; Barbara Houseman, Voice Coach and Chris Hay, Production Manager.
