Full casting announced for White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre

Full casting has been announced for the West End transfer of White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre, opening in November 2019.

Olivier Award-nominated actor Michael Brandon joins the cast as General Henry Waverly, previously appearing in West End productions of Singin' in the Rain at the Palace Theatre and the titular role in Jerry Springer The Opera at the National Theatre.

Brenda Edwards will play Martha Watson in the production, whose West End credits include We Will Rock You, Chicago and Carousel. Next year, Edwards will star as Deloris Van Cartier in a production of Sister Act.

Danielle Hope and Clare Halse will play the roles of Betty Haynes and Judy Haynes respectively, starring as sisters in the production. Since winning the television series Over The Rainbow to star as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Hope has also starred in Les Miserables and Snow White. Halse's notable credits include Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, as well as starring in Gypsy and Wicked.

They join the previously announced Danny Mac and Dan Burton, who will reprise their roles from the Leicester Curve Theatre in the West End transfer.

The cast is completed by Stephane Anelli, Delycia Belgrave, Sophie Camble, Matthew Caputo, Jordan Crouch, Aimee Hodnett, Michael Lin, Robbie McMillan, Jo Morris, Oliver Ramsdale, Erin Rushidi, Kayleigh Thadani, Sion Tudor Owen, Alexandra Waite-Roberts, Sasha Walters, Matthew Whennell-Clark, Jack Wilcox, Anna Woodside and Freya Yates.

Based on the 1954 movie of the same name starring Bing Crosby, White Christmas follows two ex-military servicemen who put on a show in order to raise money for their former General's ski lodge. The musical features a soundtrack including 'Sisters' and the titular song, as made famous by Crosby.

White Christmas is at the Dominion Theatre from 16th November.
