About 4000 Miles

First performed in 2011, Amy Herzog's 4000 Miles tells the story of Leo, a young man who has cycled across the United States to end up on his grandmother's doorstep. As the pair share stories with one another, they reflect on their common grievances.

4000 Miles was named Time Magazine's top play or musical of 2012, later nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2013.

Matthew Warchus' fifth season as artistic director

4000 Miles will be performed at the Old Vic as part of Warchus' fifth season, including Daniel Radcliffe and Alan Cumming in a revival of Samuel Beckett's Endgame and the world premiere of Local Hero.

4000 Miles is at the Old Vic from 6th April to 23rd May.
